I had my first session with Dean in Manchester five days ago, I’m really happy with the results so far. I have just shaved my head for the first time after the procedure using the Pitbull skull shaver and I have a bit of a problem, the sides of my head where I still grow hair are a lot lighter than the top of my head – I’m wondering if anybody else has had this problem? It seems to effect the blend, I now look bald on the sides but not on the top. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

May be the skull shaver is to close for you. As it cuts
Simlar to a razor. You may need a different clipper.03/08/2020 at 7:00 pm #71187Lisamarie1Participant
And it may fade a little on top.03/08/2020 at 7:07 pm #71189
Thanks Lisa. Any recommendations?03/08/2020 at 7:32 pm #71192TazParticipant
You’ve only had the 1st session mate, a lot of the blending happens on the 2nd and 3rd session, I wouldn’t worry about the blend at all yet, 1st session really is just a first coat, they will adjust the colour and density so it will blend in perfectly by the time you have finished.
You kind of want the top to be a bit darker to give the look of good density hair, as long as it’s blended by the end of your treatment it will look great.
Maybe use clippers at the moment until you’ve had the next session.

Hi Danny, I know what you mean, I was thinking the same after my first session. I’ve since had my second session and got used to the darker look on top now it’s blended in better.
I find it’s exaggerated in dull light but looks great in the sunshine.
I’m looking forward to my third session next week in London.
