Hey guys
I have been using Peter Thomas Roth max anti shine for the past while now and can honestly say it is by far and away the best solution for a shiny scalp, it’s amazing!
Trouble is, it’s very hard to come across
My question is, does anybody else use this and if so, where are you getting it? I would really like to stock up
25/07/2015 at 9:30 pm #31658coconutheadParticipantI’ve never tried it mate. I’ve read about it a fair bit on other forums.
I’m lucky that I don’t have much shine , but just after shaving it is a tad shiny. I’ve just been putting on la Roche posay factor 50 sun cream. It’s unbelievably mattifying. I’ve seen me putting a tiny bit of moisturiser on after it.
Have you tried the monistat chafing gel? Marcin told me about this but I’ve yet to try it.25/07/2015 at 10:54 pm #31659dubrob1ParticipantHey coconut
I use that La Roche Posay stuff too and it’s very good, factor 50 is an amazing bonus too.
Peter Thomas Roth blows it out of the water for mattifying though, it’s amazing!
I might look into that chafing gel to see how it compares

Do you put that on after shaving then the sun cream ?26/07/2015 at 10:53 am #31661dubrob1ParticipantYeah, that’s a decent price
It’s a small tube but a little goes a long way.
I would put it on over sunscreen.

Going to keep searching for it more locally
26/07/2015 at 3:36 pm #31665coconutheadParticipantDid you see some chancer trying to punt it at 70 quid on Amazon. Lol.
Aye. Expensive postage but I’m sure it was just over 30 quid including postage by the time the cash exchange was applied.27/07/2015 at 9:16 am #31667KitParticipantGuys get some of these you won’t be disappointed Skalp Manchester got me into these…..
Just as good as PTR in-fact i prefer them over PTR because they don’t just cover the sebum like PTR they remove it ! and then deliver a lovely powder matte finish.
Don’t waste your money on PTR its a tiny bottle thats overpriced its bloody daylight robbery! the deep action papers only cost a Couple of quid for 200 papers give them ago you will be amazed.27/07/2015 at 10:11 am #31668coconutheadParticipantSuper drug for me tomorrow
27/07/2015 at 11:02 am #31669KitParticipantReport back on this thread coconut when you have tried them : )
27/07/2015 at 3:50 pm #31672coconutheadParticipantJeeso. I went and bought these. I didn’t realise my head was as oily. Lol. Nice finish that compliments my shadow!
Thanks 🙂28/07/2015 at 1:28 pm #31679KitParticipantYeah there good ! sucks up all the sebum rather than just trying to cover it over like PTR does.
28/07/2015 at 4:49 pm #31680markybParticipantBeen using the papers for a while after I used one on my oily scalp in November
Think they are on offer 2 packs for £4
A little tip for you
Get some kitchen roll and dab it all over scalp
You will be surprised how much oil it removes
That way you don’t use as many shine papers -
