Have you got the eyebrow thing?
Suddenly, it seems, eye brows have become all the rage. And it’s the huge fashion of tattoo’s that has placed them very firmly in the spotlight. It has always been trendy for women to shape and colour their eyebrows so they are aligned with the shape of the face and compliment the colour of the skin and hair but this new step of an eyebrow tattoo enables you to design your eyebrows so they are just the way you want them to look.
More than a female issue
As well as that, an eyebrow tattoo will last on average for about a year so as well as having great on-going presentation in the way you look. You don’t have to lift a finger now to do it. No more plucking, shaping, colouring or preening. It’s already there. Done.
Now eyebrow tattoo’s do seem to be for women – at the moment. I say at the moment because it seems the gap between male and female grooming is getting forever smaller – it wasn’t long ago that the idea of men waxing was decidedly in the realms of science fiction. But in the meantime, men still want to groom to perfection and the eyebrows are as much a frame for the eyes as a finishing touch for the whole face.
Scalp micro pigmentation
Many of our clients have no doubt learnt that after having scalp micro pigmentation (tattoo treatment for hair loss), their eyebrows become more prominent. With a shaven scalp there is even more need to make sure your eyebrows stay as you want them to be.
There was a great article on the Attire club website which went into great length about which type of eyebrow was best for each shape of male face. So if you are thinking of getting your eyebrows in order take heed.
Apparently there are four main face shapes and each shape has an eyebrow type which compliments it best:
- Oval face: This is where your forehead is wider than your chin. Faces usually have balanced proportions and high cheek bones. The experts say the best type of eyebrow is flat and straight as this will balance out your facial structure and make your face appear more rounded.
- Round Faces: There are no real angles here and width equals length. In contrast to the oval face angular shaped eyebrows are useful as they balance off the roundness of the face and also makes the eyes stand out.
- Heart Faces: This is where there is a broad forehead and wide cheekbones and a narrow chin. Apparently according to Attire, men with heart faces already have angles and curves to their eyebrows. A slight bend in the eyebrow will probably work best.
- Square face: This is seen as it sounds – very symmetrical, strong lines and cheekbones. Again in contrast to this angular structure rounded eyebrows look good and can make you look more confident and bold.
